Creative Drama: How to Become a Pirate

Playmaking: Beauty and the Beast

1 Week Performance Workshop: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Harry Potter is magically chosen for the Triwizard Tournament. Explore the rich characters of all the champions and their friends as they face dragons, mermaids and a dangerous maze in the quest for the Golden Cup. Week Two • June 5 – 25

Mainstage Production: My Fair Lady

First produced in 1956, this wonderful musical is based on Pygmalion, by George Bernard Shaw. Eliza Doolittle is a flower merchant taken in by a professor who has a bet that he can turn a commoner into a lady, just by changing her accent. With wonderful music like “I Could Have Danced All Night”, “Get Me to the Church” and “On the Street Where You Live”, students will thoroughly enjoy bringing this classical musical to the stage. Acting students will work with professional staff to produce My Fair Lady in a three week rehearsal process that will includes weekdays and 1 Sunday rehearsal. The process will conclude with 6 performances in the final weekend: Wedneday PM through Sunday PM.

The young prince Pippin goes on a quest to discover the secret to true happiness. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power. Inevitably he discovers that happiness is found in the Un-extraordinary moments hidden in a simple day.With an infectious score from the four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked), Pippin is a beautiful coming of age story told primarily by a narrator and the flashy ensemble that accompanies his every move. Main Stage Production: Macbeth

An ambitious general of Scotland, Macbeth is haunted by 3 witches who prophesy his future. He and his wife are consumed with the promise of power and so plot to take the Scottish throne. After murdering the King of Scotland, Macbeth is wracked with guilt and becomes paranoid to the point of hallucinations. As his paranoia grows, he continues to commit more and more murders to cover his tracks. The chaos sets off a civil war and Macbeth and Lady MacBeth descend further into madness.  Acting students will work with professional staff to produce Macbeth in a three week rehearsal process that will includes weekdays and one Sunday rehearsal.
