In roaring twenties Chicago, chorus girl Roxie Hart, murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband Amos to take the rap. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess” Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune and acquittal. This sharp edged mature satire will challenge our academy artists as they tackle the noire setting, complex characters, and show stopping ensemble numbers.

*NOTE: Chicago contains mature content (PG-13). We encourage parents to familiarize themselves with the story before registering their performer. Detailed information can be found at www.samuelfrench.com/Chicago or by viewing the 2002 film.
