Work with a professional actor on monologue selection and performance, cold readings, managing nerves, headshots and resumes. This class builds actor technique, as well as, public speaking skills that provide confidence to youth with school presentations.

Monster Hunters

It’s a typical afternoon in Bumblewood when the weekly meeting of The Monster, Ghost, Goblin, Demon, Dragon, Evil-Wizard Hunters Club (whose members have never caught, seen, or even tried to hunt a monster) is interrupted by a troublesome announcement: a real-live monster has been sited in a nearby cemetery. The mismatched friends anxiously set out on their first hunt ever, only to find that they have been duped by the Secret Society of Kids Who Like to Make Bracelets Club. In the end, though, it is The Monster Hunters who will have the last laugh. Includes Supervised Lunch.

Young artists build music theatre skills in singing and dance as they work as an ensemble to rehearse and perform numbers from Peter Pan, Finding Neverland, and Peter and the Starcatcher. Students will learn how to develop character backstory and will perform their ensemble numbers during the final class.

Join us as we attempt to cover the entirety of Greek mythology in one zany performance. Creation myths such as Pandora’s Box and Cronos and the Titans jostle for space with other famous myths like Jason and the Argonauts (the original Super Friends). Culminating in a heart-pounding, five-minute, version of The Iliad. This fast-paced, free-wheeling play is wild, silly, and a complete blast for both actor and audience.
