6th Annual JAAMM Festival
Oct. 15-Nov. 10, 2013
JAAMM Festival (Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies & Music Festival) is a unique celebration of Jewish life and culture for the Jewish community as well as the community at large. The festival combines MACC’s Annual Festival of Jewish Books and Authors (a book sale, personal appearances by authors of international prominence and a Denver Jewish Community Reads program), with dynamic concerts ranging from blues to pop to classical.
We will also feature three documentary Jewish films on a variety of fascinating personalities, a Judaic art exhibition and a premiere theatre performance co-produced by Theatre Or. Returning again this year are the Scholar in Residence workshops and lectures and the 11th Annual Fred Marcus Memorial Holocaust Lecture in cooperation with the Holocaust Awareness Institute of the Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Denver.
New this year, we are proud to partner with the Colorado Symphony and Wonderbound (formerly Ballet Nouveau) as well as Israel’s Liat Dror Nir Ben Gal Dance Company.
We hope you will join us for this world-class, multidisciplinary Jewish Cultural celebration!
